Preschool TeacherHello, my name is Julie Wood and I'll be teaching preschool. I'm excited to be a part of the St. Peter Faber community and for the opportunity to share my passion helping students become confident, life long learners. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the College of Mt. St. Joseph, a Master Degree in Elementary Education from Xavier University and many years of teaching experience across various grade levels. Most recently, I have spent the last nine years teaching preschool on the Westside where I live with my husband, three teenagers and our dog Remy.I love being with children, learning from them and watching them grow over the course of a year. It is amazing what a preschooler can learn and achieve! My goal is to create an environment of kindness and support that fosters creativity, excitement, joy and curiosity for learning. In my free time you’ll find me with my family, gardening and watching sports. I look forward to meeting you soon!
